Healthy, Honey
Listen, it’s quick, healthy & addictive. Breakfast, bruch, snack - all the things. You’ve been warned.
Usually on recipe websites this is where there’s some long, obnoxious story about how the author grew up in Nantucket or picked pears with their favorite aunt-twice-removed in the summer…or spring. Fall?
When do pears happen?
I would like to honor that online tradition, so here it goes:
Something something, locally sourced something, organic things, story, protein, farms, family, flannel.
Ok, we good? Wonderful, here’s the stuff you put on a plate or in a bowl:
Pears: Whichever kind you want as long as they are firm - these are bartlett, they were delicious. I either half them and scoop the goodness on or slice them and dip em in deliciousness.
Greek Yogurt or Cottage Cheese: Start with your favorite plain or vanilla greek yogurt. The OG recipe calls for cottage cheese. You can use that if you’d like, and then pray about why you like it and ask for deliverance.
Salt: Sprinkle some sea salt. It will change your life.
Granola: What’s your favorite? Use that.
Honey: Drizzle some honey on that thang.
Cinnamon: - I didn’t do it this time, but you should.
Nutritious sustenance for the building of the body.
